There is a rent charge of ten shillings per annum on a house in Plymouth payable to the Church Wardens <of this parish> for the use of the poor which is properly applied. There are in this parish two small tenements given to pious uses as I have been told: but who hath the direction of the benefactions I know not. I have not heard of any abuses.

  8. Frequency of communion: The Holy Sacrament of the Lords Supper is administred in my Church four times in the year.

  9. Number of communicants: I never took upon me to reckon how many communicants are in the parish, or how many of them usually receive: nor can I tell in particular how many there were who communicated at Easter last past. But the number of communicants, to the best of my remembrance, are never less than fifteen, & seldom exceed thirty.

  10. Catechising of children: I catechize the children in my church, as the Rubric directs, from Easter to Michaelmass: nor do I want children or an Audience. By speaking to the Children I instruct their parents.
